Linkin Park‘s “Up From the Bottom” achieves a rare feat by reaching No. 1 on both Billboard’s Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay charts, marking the band’s 14th leader on Alternative Airplay and 13th on Mainstream Rock Airplay. The song is also spending its sixth week at No. 1 on Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. Linkin Park now has the second most Alternative Airplay No. 1s since the tally began in 1988, trailing only Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 15 chart-toppers. Additionally, on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, “Up From the Bottom” becomes Linkin Park’s 13th No. 1, tying the band with Disturbed, Godsmack, and Van Halen for the sixth-most No. 1s since the chart’s inception in 1981. “Up From the Bottom” is featured on the deluxe version of the group’s comeback album, From Zero, which was released on May 16. The standard edition of Linkin Park’s eighth studio record debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart when it was released in November 2024. (Billboard)
