Steve graduated from Elder High School in 1989 and spent the next 10 years doing everything from studying business at UC, to working in construction and landscaping (he once drove a riding lawnmower into a lake), to loading trucks at UPS and acting in theater and short films in Chicago.
Then, in 1999, he realized he could make a living sitting in a room by himself, talking about the weather, the Bengals and what Elton John and Paul McCartney are up to these days… and he’s been in radio ever since.
The best part of the job for him is making listeners a part of the show. He plays requests between 9 and 10 on the Primetime Request Hour.
When he’s not playing Cincinnati’s Greatest Hits, he likes to spend time training for marathons and triathlons, riding his motorcycle and getting in his car and randomly driving to cities he’s never been.
