Last week we all went through the aftermath of our freak wind storm and this week we're all witnessing a hurricane washing over our economy.  My 13-year old son wanted to know what was going on and I tried to explain it the best I could and then told him he and his children will be paying for this mess their entire lives.  What a depressing conversation.

We've had some lousy leadership in our country in the past but this group is unprecedented in their stupidity and lack of stewardship for our country.  Good, got that off my chest.  I'd rather have the firefighters in the Sprint commercial running things.

Football picks this week in the AFC North - I have a bad feeling about the Bengals this week, like last week was the best they had and Cleveland's going to get their act together.  I'll still take the Bengals as Cleveland's secondary stinks but Cincinnati needs to protect Palmer better.  Steelers over Ravens in a defensive battle, probably 17-14.
