From Reverend Judy (via emai)

Hi Keith,
First off, thanks for all the great updates on supplies, closings and roads. You have been a great lifeline.
Secondly, as a survivor of hurricane Hugo September 21,1989 I can tell you that the Cincy folks need to start caring for themselves now. Keep candles in safe containers only in occupied rooms. Wrap frozen food in newspaper, it will stay colder longer. Don't open the fridge door at all if you can help it. Drive slowly and stop at every intersection. Stay home at night, the bad guys take advantage of damaged unoccupied homes. Conserve water, fill up your tub and containers now. Use your grill to cook outdoors only, you may die from the toxic fumes in a garage if it rains. Be kind to eachother, you never know if the other guy as reached the end of his rope! Be careful where you drive, there's more on the roads than branches. Buy no groceries more than you can use in a two day time span, it's hoarding and unfair to the rest of the community. Besides, Kroger is getting their shipments. Help out your neighbors, check on those who live alone.
I know how to get through it, doesn't mean it's easy!
Good luck to all,
Rev. Judy R. Mathis Burroughs
