Chris and i just returned from a lifetime dream vacation to London and Liverpool. Because of the tips and lifestyle that has been taught to us by the trainers at BEAT personal training, we were able to eat well on the road. It is easy, even in a foreign country to order off a menu and eat healthy. Look for grilled, not fried and of course vegetables and salad. We also took our own snacks for lunch, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. That doesn't mean we didn't have a occasional indulgence on vacation, but we didn't want to ruin everything we had accomplished on the BEAT program. Plus we didn't want to disappoint our trainer Matt by disrespecting all he has taught us about healthy eating.
It was also wonderful that Vic from the Mason location put together some exercises for us to do on the road too! Things like sit-ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, you know all that fun stuff!
We are learning the health never takes a vacation!
